ORD – Olive Branch, MS Lane Opened

Olive Branch (MS) is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US due to the influx of many multinational corporations such as GE, Milwaukee Tool and Siemens. While most of these companies have a need to ship air cargo from the ORD airport, no trucking companies have provided a non-stop LTL/partial trucking service.

ORDCargoShipper has opened a non-stop, dedicated trucking lane from the ORD airport to Olive Branch, significantly reducing receiving time for the firms noted above.

Purchase of Low-bed Trailer

For residential delivery, large, fragile objects are difficult to handle, and in many cases, these objects are bigger than the truck liftgate. We purchased a low-bed trailer that allows us to move such an object (i.e., a statue) from the trailer to the garage using an electric pallet jack.

Deployment of AI Technologies

AI technology is transforming virtually all industries. Having expended significant amounts of time learning statistical modelling via Kaggle, our team has implemented machine learning (ML) technologies in the US domestic trucking industry. We are now able to obtain optimal, spot trucking rates between any given two locations in the United States.

OTI License Approval

We received the long-waiting Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) license from the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC). As an FMC-approved freight forwarder, we are qualified to arrange international marine transportation.

Warehouse put into operation

Warehouse remains critical to lowering logistical costs. Today, we started bringing air cargo from the ORD airport to our warehouse for additional packaging, warehousing and transloading. Our warehouse is about 25-min drive from the ORD airport, and it is equipped with loading dock and forklifts.

We bought two trucks today

$0.36 – $0.76 /kg/day is the storage pay you need to pay if freight is not pulled out from the airport within 24-48 hours depending on airline regulations. Using a third-party trucker or a broker can often result in late pickup.

Today, we bought a 16′ F350 box truck and a 26′ International Diesel box truck, enabling us to pick up air cargo from the ORD airport 24/7/365. We look forward to working with you.
